Noam is the Academic Director of the What Works Hub for Global Education. His interests focus on bridging the gap between evidence on ‘what works’ to enable young people to thrive and translation into scaled intervention and policy.

Yue-Yi Hwa is a Senior Synthesis Manager on the evidence translation and synthesis team at the What Works Hub for Global Education.Yue-Yi’s research is on improving implementation and children’s learning in education systems, with particular interests in teacher motivation, management, professional norms, and sociocultural context.

Sharnic leads TA efforts on measurement and conducting right-fit rigorous evidence with the What Works Hub for Global Education. Sharnic’s research centers on information design, exploring how carefully crafted informational interventions influence decision-making and behaviour.

Rebecca Trupin is a Senior Policy Manager at the What Works Hub for Global Education, where she helps to build out the team’s policy engagement and government support function, with a focus on using evidence for bold, large-scale education reform. Rebecca’s research is on how public sector capacity to achieve important societal aspirations can be nurtured and built, with particular interests in organisational practices and systems that foster this growth.

Guillermo is a Research Manager at the What Works Hub for Global Education’s central team in Oxford, where he focuses on Pillar 3: Implementation Science.Guillermo’s research focuses on evidence-based policymaking, education system reform, and the use of implementation science to bridge the gap between research and practice in order to improve student outcomes worldwide.
