Effective Use of Real-time Data to Improve Instruction and Accountability
Governments are collecting data, but there's a significant gap in real-time analysis and the generation of actionable insights. The government needs systems and digital tools to process observational data, provide immediate feedback to teachers and coaches, and empower supervisors (School support officers, block officials etc.) to track performance and enforce accountability. This is critical for addressing instructional weaknesses promptly and ensuring continuous teacher improvement.
Capacity Building and Professional Development
A continuous need for building the capacity of teachers, headteachers, and government officials through training, mentoring, and professional development is evident. This includes improving pedagogical delivery and the ability to utilize data.
Logistical and Operational Support for Interventions
Governments commit to providing focal points, ensuring participation of relevant officials in training and feedback sessions, and sharing policies and documentation to facilitate research and program implementation. This implies a need for well-structured and supported interventions.
